Kawiye Social Development Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization registered to operate in Tanzania mainland with a registration number 00NGO/00005153 of 24th February 2012. The organization has also been registered as tax payer with Tax Identification Number 125-498-922, registered by the Workers Compensation Fund (number 013116), and under the National Social Security Fund (number 532231). The mission of our organization is to build and strengthens abilities and capacities of community members to help themselves through practical and sustainable use of resources found in their localities. With over nine years of community services, the organization has grown from  a  community-based  organization to a non-profit NGO operating in the thematic areas of health, human rights, education,  community development, gender and environment  conservation. KASODEFO focuses on improving quality of life by reducing poverty, fighting ignorance and diseases in the community through training and support in social and economic initiatives, rehabilitation and development programmes basing on the national vision (2025) and sustainable global goals (2030). The organization has stable and systematic administrative structure, policy, regulations and principles based on the NGO registration Act (2002), its constitution, National NGOs code of conduct and the National Policy on NGO. Administratively, the members annual general meeting (AGM) is the main and final decision making organ while the Board of Directors the major of oversight organ. On that same note, the executive committee is responsible for daily execution of the organization’s activities.
