Kawiye Social Development Foundation is working with National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), PORALG in Simiyu Region through RHMTs and CHMTs under the coordination of the Regional and District Malaria Focal Persons to provide nnecessary community mobilization and sensitization for malaria interventions at the lower level in intensively promote positive uptake of the interventions by individuals and community members.
The Kawiye Social Development Foundation's nutrition project yielded significant results, positively impacting the lives of children living with HIV, vulnerable women and youth, and the broader Maswa community. The project not only addressed immediate nutritional needs but also fostered long-term sustainability through income generation and community education.
Improved nutritional status:
Over 100 children living with HIV received regular food baskets, demonstrably improving their nutritional intake and overall health.
